According to TheChauffeur.com reports, Volkswagen has unveiled photos of an executive vehicle known as Caravelle Business that has been designed and engineered to be a mobile conference room. It boasts state of the art technology, such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Internet, and offers a rear lounge area with an adjustable table and four individual seats. The 2 middle seats provide top notch Nappa leather upholstery and swivel to face backward or forward. The rear bench seat found on conventional Caravelle models has been replaced by a dual seat console, which is heated and multi-adjustable with incorporated fridge between the seats.
The Volkswagen Caravelle Business luxury van is also equipped with multifunction leather steering column, satellite navigation with 30GB hard disk drive and a 6.5 inch color screen, a programmable heater for keeping the cabin at desired temperature and lane change assist. The 2nd battery with cut-off relay powers rear seating area independently. It’s recognized by 17-inch alloy wheels, privacy glass, electrically folding door mirrors, laminated windscreen and darkened rear light clusters. The Caravelle Business features xenon headlamps with automatic activation, rear and front parking sensors with reversing camera, headlight washer system, heated front washer jets, electric sliding side doors and LED daytime running lamps. Motivation for the luxury van comes from the automaker’s bi-turbo TDI 2.0 liter diesel powerplant, which is good for pulsating 177 horsepower with 295 pound feet of torque. The engine is mated to DSG dual clutch automatic gearbox. It is offered for the price of £56,069 for 4MOTION four wheel drive and £53,856 for front wheel drive version.
